Firepolished Beads

 

To create firepolished beads hot liquid glass is poured into molds which are cooled and then faceted. The last step is to expose them to a high heat which softens the hard edges and gives them their shine and brilliance. Firepolished beads are lead free unlike traditional crystal beads, yet they retain the same brilliance of color and tone.
